OUR COVER: We
have utilized the atomic mushroom cloud in this issue to highlight the article
on Satan’s drug sorcery, but there is also the matter of the article on page 4
entitled Who, What is Leviathan? Our troubles in today’s world stem from
events that took place with the first man Adam, and also Israel’s failure to
fulfill their part of the covenant made with their Elohim Yahweh. The Tree of
Life-Tree of Death article also fits in quite well with the other two articles.

Presidential candidate Barak Hussein Obama ran his initial campaign on
CHANGE! The outcry was “Yes we can!” His words sank into the hearts of so
many people young and old, rich and poor. During Jimmy Carter’s
administration, the nation began a quick downward slide. Double digit inflation
was killing us, among so many other things. Ronald Reagan’s administration
seemingly brought that downward slide to an end. However, George H. W. Bush’s,
Bill Clinton’s, and George W. Bush’s administrations were bringing the
nation to another downward slide. At the end of George W. Bush’s
administration, the nation was 4 trillion dollars in debt. Everyone knew that
the end was in sight, that if we continued with the same policies established by
those and other former administrations, the nation was going to face a dreadful
future. Enter Mr. Obama….
The messages of “Yes we can” and “CHANGE” were “just words,”
EMPTY “words!” People were looking to Barak H. Obama for the salvation of
the nation. When we entrust ourselves, our families, our nation to mere men, the
result is disaster. There are, of course, many past examples to look to if we
really want to know what is happening, and going to happen. Since our nation was
supposedly established on “Biblical” principles, maybe we should look to the
Scriptures for one of the best examples of a people so much like ourselves, that
in reality, we, many of us, are their descendants, and have patterned our lives
in the exact same manner! Let’s allow a prophet to declare it to us, “The
vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in
the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Hear, O heavens,
and give ear, O earth: for Yahweh hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up
children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the
ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah
sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that
are corrupters: they have forsaken Yahweh, they have provoked the Holy One of
Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more
and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of
the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and
bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither
bound up, neither mollified with ointment,” Isa. 1:1-6.
If you will remember, Israel was divided into two nations after King
Solomon’s reign, that is, northern Israel, and southern Judah. Both became so
wicked, so evil, so sick that they had to be removed as kingdoms. Many of the
Jewish descendants are living among us today, as well as many of the Israelites
(northern Israel). Their ways haven’t really changed, nor have the Gentiles
(non-Hebrews).
Our forefather Adam was given every chance for success. He was living in a
most beautiful, harmonious, productive, peaceful situation, but he disobeyed His
Maker and set the stage for all of his descendants, whether Hebrew, or Gentile.
We all follow his example whether we like to admit it or not. In essence, he
committed suicide. He was warned not to take of the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil because to do so would bring the death process upon himself. The
pattern is such that men build, only to destroy. The reality is revealed in
small children who like to take blocks of various kinds, build various
structures, and then rejoice in tearing it all down. Such is the story of the
descendants of Adam. They build kingdoms, businesses, families, etc., only to
tear them down, break them apart, so as to begin again. This is actually the
motto of the Freemasons to wit: Ordo Ab Chao, that is, “Order out of, or from
chaos.” In other words, they build, bring to chaos, so they can build again.
Ruins of great unknown kingdoms have been found all over the earth. All
kingdoms have either failed, or are in the process of failing. As for America,
it is a nation that has revolted against her Maker Yahweh. The sickness is seen
from the HEAD (President, Congress, and Judicial system) to the SOLES OF THE
FEET (that is the poorest of the land)! So many people proclaim that America is
the last hope for the world and stability. Where is America’s stability today?
Where is the world’s stability? America has failed! The world has failed. From
the time of Cain, man, the world has been in a weapon’s race. There are now so
many ways to destroy this world, many, many, many times over. Man has always
created weapons to use on his enemies, but today’s weapons not only will
destroy the enemy, but also those who utilize them. The situation, left to
mankind (Adam kind) is hopeless!
The good news is that there is a second Adam. His name is Yahshua the
Messiah. When the time is right, He will be sent to this earth to establish the
kingdom of (or from) heaven. Our only hope IS NOT in America! Our only hope is
in Yahshua the Messiah! Presently, the world is blinded to this, but the time is
coming when it will all be revealed. As for Yahweh’s people, it is our duty to
continue to publish the truths about Him and His only begotten Son Who is the
Savior and Redeemer of all who will receive Him. The Scriptures speak of and
reveal the blessedness of His kingdom, the happiness, joy, peace, and
productivity of the earth in the near future.
Even so, MAY HIS KINGDOM COME!!!!!

Yahweh asks Job, "Canst thou draw out Leviathan with
an hook, or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? Canst thou put an
hook into his nose, or bore his jaw through with a thorn? Will he make many
supplications unto thee? Will he speak soft words unto thee? Will he make a
covenant with thee? Wilt thou take him for a servant for ever? Wilt thou play
with him as with a bird? Or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens? Shall the
companions make a banquet of him? Shall they part him among the merchants? Canst
thou fill his skin with barbed irons? Or his head with fish spears? Lay thine
hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more. Behold, the hope of him is in
vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him? None is so fierce
that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?" Job 41:1-10.
What kind of creature is this that is described to be so
fierce?
Most people have no idea that the word Leviathan appears
twice in the book of Job. The first reference is found in Job 3:8 which says,
"Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning."
"Mourning" is translated from the Hebrew word
"Leviathan!" What does this mean? Let's begin at verse one to see if
we can possibly figure some of it out, "After this opened Job his mouth,
and cursed his day. And Job spake, and said, Let the day perish wherein I was
born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. Let
that day be darkness; let not Elohim regard it from above, neither let the light
shine upon it. Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell
upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. As for that night, let
darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it
not come into the number of the months. Lo, let that night be solitary, let no
joyful voice come therein. Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to
raise up their mourning (Leviathan). Let the stars of the twilight
thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the
dawning of the day: Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor
hid sorrow from mine eyes. Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up
the spirit when I came out of the belly? Why did the knees prevent me? or why
the breasts that I should suck? For now should I have lain still and been quiet,
I should have slept: then had I been at rest, With kings and counsellors of the
earth, which built desolate places for themselves; Or with princes that had
gold, who filled their houses with silver: Or as an hidden untimely birth I had
not been; as infants which never saw light. There the wicked cease from
troubling; and there the weary be at rest. There the prisoners rest together;
they hear not the voice of the oppressor. The small and great are there; and the
servant is free from his master. Wherefore is light given to him that is in
misery, and life unto the bitter in soul; Which long for death, but it cometh
not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures; Which rejoice exceedingly, and
are glad, when they can find the grave?" vv. 1-22.
Isn't Job lamenting the day of his birth? Why? Because of
all of the troubles that Satan has been allowed to bring upon him!? Remember
that at the beginning of the book of Job, Satan appears before Yahweh among the
sons of Elohim. He challenges Yahweh to take away Job's protective hedge, take
away all of his possessions, and he would curse Yahweh to His face (Job.
1:11-12). Yahweh put Job into Satan's hands and he happily proceeded to take
away all of Job's possessions, but instead of cursing Yahweh, he blessed Him.
Chapter two reveals that there was another day that Satan
appeared before Yahweh with the sons of Elohim wherein he challenges Yahweh to
touch Job's bone and flesh and he would then curse Him to His face, so Yahweh
allows Satan to have control over Job's health. By the time Job's friends come
on the scene to comfort him, Job is so miserable that he is wishing he had never
been born and is expressing himself thusly.
I have a Companion Bible
that also begins to present the verses of Job, beginning with chapter 3, verse 3
through chapter 42, verse 6 in a "A New Metrical Version." It renders
Job 3:8 thusly, "Let those engaged in banning days curse this; Those ready
e'en to rouse Leviathan."
Interestingly, the word "curse" appears twice in
the King James Version
verse, but it is translated from two separate Hebrew words. The first is naqab which is defined as; to puncture, literally
(to perforate, with more or less violence) or figuratively (to specify,
designate, libel). It is variously translated as; appoint, blaspheme, bore,
curse, express, with holes, name, pierce, strike through.
The second word is 'arar
which is defined as; to execrate. It is generally translated as; bitterly curse.
The "New Metrical Version would better be translated
as, "Let those engaged in naming
days curse this; Those ready
e'en to rouse Leviathan."
They are engaged in cursing the days by naming them! The
seven days of the week have all been given the names of pagan idols, pagan gods,
by men. The only day that Yahweh ever named was the seventh day Sabbath. All of
the rest were numbered one through six. Man honors his false gods by naming days
and months after them. Yahweh commanded Israel, "And in all things that I
have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other
gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth," Ex. 23:13.
My how things have been twisted around! The names of the
false pagan gods are mentioned every day, but it is presently the true name of
the Creator, the name Yahweh, that is taken out of people's mouths. Notice the
paradox. Yahweh forbids the names of the pagan gods to be spoken, those who love
the pagan gods forbid Yahweh's name to be spoken.
Furthermore, when the names of the pagan gods are
mentioned, Leviathan is raised up! The people are, in essence, raising up their
mourning, because when the true Elohim is revealed from heaven, all nations are
going to mourn, "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in
heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in
the clouds of heaven with power and great glory," Mt. 24:30.
THE SERPENT
The word Leviathan only appears about five times in the
Scriptures, but the Prophet Isaiah gives us an excellent picture of this
creature, this being. He prophesies, "Come, my people, enter thou into thy
chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little
moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, Yahweh cometh out of his
place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also
shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. In that day Yahweh
with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish Leviathan the
piercing serpent, even Leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall
slay the dragon that is in the
sea," Isa. 26:20-21; 27:1.
"Piercing" is translated from the Hebrew word bariach, which is defined as; a fugitive, i.e. the
serpent (as fleeing), and the constellation
by that name. "Crooked" is translated from the Hebrew word `aqallathown, which is defined
as; tortuous. Leviathan is none other than "the great dragon, that old
serpent called the devil, and Satan which deceives the whole world (Rev. 12:9).
He is the same serpent who entered into the Garden of Eden
and deceived the woman into partaking of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil which brought death not only upon Adam and Eve, but all of
their descendants.
He is the liar from the beginning who, by his lie, has
murdered all of mankind, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of
your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the
beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in
him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the
father of it," Jn. 8:44.
The word Leviathan is defined as; a wreathed
animal, i.e. a serpent (especially the crocodile or some other large
sea-monster); figuratively, the constellation of the
dragon; also as a
symbol of Babylon. (Strong's Exhaustive
Concordance)
Have you ever wondered why a wreath is hung on the door of
a home where a death has occurred? It is because Leviathan, the wreathed
serpent, has been victorious!
Remember the curse on the serpent in the beginning? "And
Yahweh Elohim said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art
cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly
shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the
days of thy life," Gen. 3:14.
Then Yahweh told Adam, "In the sweat of thy face
shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou
taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return," Gen. 3:19.
Yahweh assigned man to be the serpent's food! How does the
serpent eat mankind? Through lies, because lies murder, lies kill! He has the
power of death over every man! That is how he consumes, eats them (us). OUR ONLY WAY OF ESCAPE IS THROUGH THE MESSIAH YAHSHUA!
THE WORD LEVIATHAN
The word Leviathan is a combination of two Hebrew words.
The first is lavah, which is #3867
in the Hebrew lexicon of Strong's Exhaustive
Concordance and is defined as; to
twine,
i.e. (by implication) to unite, to remain; also to borrow (as a form of obligation) or (caus.) to lend.
The second Hebrew word is tan,
which is #8567 in Strong's
and is defined as; to elongate; a monster (as preternaturally
formed), i.e. a sea-serpent (or other huge marine animal); also a jackal (or
other hideous land animal).
Thus, Leviathan is the monster, or serpent (tan) that unites (lavah).
Not only does the serpent unite us with death through his lies, but did you
notice that Leviathan is a symbol for Babylon? In the definition for lavah, we find the meanings of to borrow, and to lend.
Did you know that Babylon was the originator of the banking system? Didn't the
bankers devise the system of depositing one's money for safety, but also taking
the customer's money, multiplying it through deceptive practices, and lending it
to others for the bank's own profit? The book of Proverbs states, "The rich
ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender," Prov.
22:7.
Should this not tell us something about the modern day
world, and especially America? Americans think that they are voting for their
leader of choice, but the candidates are already servants of the rich. All of
our people, including our leaders, have been deceived. America is being ruled by
the rich, and the people are their servants (slaves). Don't all presidential
candidates run on fiscal responsibility? Does fiscal responsibility ever take
place? Didn't Barack Obama call George W. Bush unpatriotic and irresponsible
because of the debt of his presidency? Don't his own words come back on his own
head as the most unpatriotic and most irresponsible since the debt of his
administration is so many times greater than Bush's? In reality, it is far
greater than all previous presidential administrations put together.
In our booklet entitled "Satan's devices" we
discovered that the serpent is the one who "unites" (lavah) the people with idolatry. He is the one who
sought to exalt his throne above the stars of El (Isa. 14:13-14). He has the
power of deception and the whole world has been deceived by his great power to
worship him rather than the true Creator of heaven and earth.
But Leviathan is also a monster, as
"preternaturally" formed. Preternatural has to do with that which is
beyond the natural, something that is abnormal. It also has to do with something
that is supernatural. Scripture speaks of a "King of Tyrus" who was
created perfect by Yahweh, but became abnormal because of iniquity and sin. (Ez.
28:12-16)
This would fit in with the fourth beast of Daniel chapter
seven. Daniel is given a vision wherein four great world ruling beast kingdoms
would arise. The first (Babylon) is like a lion and has eagle's wings. This may
be abnormal, but we could still visualize a lion with eagle's wings because of
the existence of both in the natural world. The second (Medo-Persia) is like a
bear with three ribs in its mouth, and the third (Greco-Macedonia) is like a
leopard with four heads and four wings on its back. These also are abnormal, but
can be visualized because of the existence of these creatures in the natural
world. But when we get to the fourth world ruling beast kingdom (Rome), there is
nothing in the natural world that can be utilized to describe this terrible
creature. It is dreadful, and terrible, and exceedingly strong.
Leviathan also has to do with "twine." The noun
"twine" is defined as; 1. a) to twist
together; intertwine, interlace b)
to form by twisting, intertwining, or interlacing
2. to
encircle or wreathe (one thing) with another
3. to wind (something) around something else
4. to enfold, embrace, etc. [a wreath twining
his brow] (Webster's New World Dictionary).
We have already touched on the symbol of the wreath in its
use for the announcement of death.
Doesn't the Prophet Isaiah give a good description
concerning the twining effect? "Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened,
that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your
iniquities have separated between you and your Elohim, and your sins have hid
his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood,
and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath
muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth:
they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth
iniquity. They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth
of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper. Their
webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their
works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their
hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their
thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they
have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know
peace," Isa. 59:1-8.
Leviathan, therefore, is a word that identifies the
serpent who unites people with deception, idolatry, the beast, and death. He has
woven his deceptive, and destructive web over the earth.
THE HEADS
We find in the book of Psalms that leviathan has heads
(more than one), "For Elohim is my King of old, working salvation in the
midst of the earth. Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the
heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the
heads of Leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people
inhabiting the wilderness," Psa. 74:12-14.
I want to peruse some Bible encyclopedias, and
dictionaries for more information on this subject.
1.
The Wycliffe Bible Dictionary
has this to say about "Leviathan":
"It is one thing to discover the literal significance
of the term Leviathan; it is quite another to determine figurative or symbolic
usage. There seems to have been a widespread reference in the mythology of the
Mediterranean peoples to a great sea monster capable of devouring on a large
scale. Somewhat parallel to the many-headed Leviathan of Ps 74:14 is the Canaanite seven-headed Lotan of Ras Shamra or Ugaritic literature,
dating c. 1700-1400 B.C. (ANET, pp. 137f)
While Job 41:1 and Ps 104:26 do not seem to have any
symbolic significance, possibly Ps 74:14 and certainly Isa 27:1 do liken
Leviathan to forces of evil (or even specially to Satan), in the latter case to
be destroyed by the power of God at the judgment day. Isaiah's words
("Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent...the
dragon that is in the sea,: RSV) call to mind the similar phraseology of the
Ugaritic Baal epic: "When thou hast smitten Lotan,
the fleeing serpent (and) hast put to an end the tortuous serpent, the mighty one with seven heads"
(Charles F. Pfeiffer, "Lotan/Leviathan from Ugarit to Patmos," Bulletin of the Near East Archaeological Society,
VIII [1965], 4). The OT prophet was referring to poetic imagery known to his
people just as Christian writers allude to the Greco-Roman mythology without
encouraging belief in the pagan deities.
The NT reflects the figure of Leviathan in Rev 12:9, where
Satan is called "the great dragon" and "that old serpent."

The Holman Bible Dictionary
reveals:
"Leviathan
- Name of an ancient sea creature subdued by God meaning "coiled one."
Leviathan appears in biblical and extra-biblical literature. A serpentine form
is indicated in Isaiah 27:1 ("leviathan the piercing [KJV] serpent").
The sea creature is used interchangeably with other
mysterious creations of the divine. Again, Isaiah 27:1 refers to Leviathan as
"the dragon that is in the sea." The psalmist in 74:14 presents
Leviathan among the supernatural enemies of God dwelling in the sea with many
heads. Job 3:8; 41:1-9 present the sea creature as too formidable a foe for a
person to consider arousing. Yet, Leviathan was created by God and subject to
Him (Ps. 104:24-30).
Apocalyptic literature depicts Leviathan as throwing off
his fetters at the end of the present age, only to be defeated in a final
conflict with the divine. Ugaritic literature of Ras Shamra during the 1300s
B.C. depicts the mythical Baal defeating the sea creature called Lotan (another linguistic form for Leviathan). The
Hittites wrote of a struggle between the dragon Illuyankas
and the mortal Hupasiyos.
A cylinder seal found at Tel Asmar dated about 2350 B.C.
shows two men fighting a seven-headed serpent.
Leviathan was seen in ancient legend as a sea
monster engaged in primordial
warfare with the gods. This creature represented chaos
in a personified manner which any creator deity had to overcome in order to
create.
Leviathan was also seen as a threat to the orderliness of
the universe and ultimately to be subdued at the end of time.
The ancient pagan myths concerning Leviathan were familiar
to the Hebrews of the Old Testament. To what degree these myths of Leviathan
influenced the Hebrews, if any, may never be known." (p. 875)

The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia
Revised states the following:
Leviathan - ....The
proper name (it always occurs without the definite article) of a
large aquatic animal, perhaps reflecting a mythological monster.
A widely attested theme of the pagan creation myths
concerns the draconic monster that threatens the
creator god, who at last overcomes the monster in the act of
creation.
Lotan (or Litan, see J. Emerton, VT, 32 [1982]), 327-331), the adversary of Baal
and Anath in the Ugaritic myths, has long been recognized as the equivalent of
OT Leviathan (see M. Pope, Job [AB,
3rd ed. 1973], pp. 329-331). Among the several references to Lotan in the
Ugaritic literature (see DOTT,
pp. 129-133) is one especially impressive parallel to Isa. 27:1 (UT, 67:1:1-3): "When you smote Lotan the fleeing serpent, you made an end
of the twisting serpent, the mighty one of the seven heads,"
(cf. also Ps. 74:14). This parallel does not imply any challenge to the fiercely
monotheistic commitment of Isaiah; as E. Smick (WTJ, 44 [1982], 90f.) noted, the pagan use of
Leviathan exclusively in connection with nature myths is everywhere historicized
in the Bible. Thus Isaiah intends it merely as a forceful poetic figure for the
ultimate defeat of the power of the evil one at the end of the age.
While Job 3:8f. involves several obscurities, Smick (WTJ, 40 [1978], 215) pointed out that Job's
appeal to professional cursers to damn the day of his birth may find a reflex in
the mythological notion that an eclipse was brought about by the chaos monster swallowing the sun (or encoiling it with
its serpentine body; cf. Heidel, p. 106).
Job 41:1-34 gives the most extended description of
Leviathan, which suggests to many the crocodile (so RSVmg.). In His
confrontation of Job, the Lord's point seems to be that while Job is no more a
match for the power of evil than he would be for a crocodile, Yahweh is Lord of
both the natural order (Job 38:1-40:2) and the moral order (40:6-41:34) -
sovereign even over Satan in the figure of Leviathan, His pet crocodile. Such
sovereignty provides the only adequate answer for Job in his anguish - the world
is God's not man's, and Job may trust that God's inscrutable ways will not be
thwarted." (pp. 108-109) [end of excerpts]
Wow! There is a lot of juicy information presented in
these books. We certainly hope that none will become offended with the use of
the words God, the Lord, etc. as we are quoting others and feel that we
shouldn't change their text in this situation in order to satisfy ourselves.
Did you notice that some referred to Rev. 12:9 concerning
the great dragon, that old serpent called the devil and Satan? Isn't he
described as a great red dragon, having seven
heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns on his heads? (Rev.
12:3)
Isn't it also interesting that he is represented as the
chaotic monster, or a serpent that is swallowing the sun? Isn't that what the
Mayan Calendar is all about? Isn't their calendar depicting the time when the
sun enters into a dark space in the Milky Way Galaxy which appears as a coiled
serpent throughout the galaxy? Didn't they believe that this would be the time
when the sun would be completely swallowed up by the serpent?
But the fact of the matter is that the serpent has already
swallowed up the sun. How? By causing the sun (and moon) to be an object of
pagan idolatrous worship. This would be spoken of by the book of Revelation,
"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great
earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became
as blood," Rev. 6:12.
While the physical light of the sun and moon are able to
be seen, spiritually, they have been swallowed up by the serpent's idolatry so
that the sun is now as black as sackcloth of hair. The moon becoming as blood
simply typifies an adulterous woman, or a harlot. Remember that the areas of
cities where prostitution was rampant were called "red light
districts."
The sun and moon were originally set in the heavens to
provide light (Yahweh's light) for the earth. They would have been set in the
heavens in order to declare the greatness, might, and esteem of Yahweh and His
glorious Son Yahshua. If we notice in Rev. 12, a woman is seen in heaven being
clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and she has a crown of 12 stars.
She brings forth a man-child Who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron,
which the serpent is seeking to devour as soon as he is born.
Since His birth, Leviathan has also been in the process of
swallowing the Messiah Yahshua in this same pagan idolatrous worship. The
Prophet Zechariah speaks of this, " And he shewed me
Yahshua the high priest standing before the angel of Yahweh, and Satan
standing at his right hand to resist him. And Yahweh said unto Satan, Yahweh
rebuke thee, O Satan; even Yahweh that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not
this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Yahshua was clothed with filthy
garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that
stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him
he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will
clothe thee with change of raiment. And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon
his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments.
And the angel of Yahweh stood by," Zech. 3:1-5.
Yahweh's word is written, but bound in mysteries. We must
come to understand the mysteries with the blessing of the Holy Spirit that is
given to us. This Yahshua the high priest is said to be the son of Yahsedech
which means "Yahweh the righteous." (Hag. 1:14) This Yahshua the high
priest is a type of Yahshua the Messiah Who is High Priest after the order of
Melchizedek, Son of the righteous Yahweh. (Psa. 110:1-5; Heb. 7:1-10)
As we have pointed out in the past, the word
"resist" in Zechariah 3, is translated from the Hebrew word satan (!jf) which is #7853 in the Hebrew Lexicon of Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.
It is defined as; to attack, accuse. It is variously translated as; (be an)
adversary, resist. The word Satan is #7854 which is also rendered as Satan (!j'f'). It is defined
as; from 7853; an opponent; especially (with the article
prefixed) Satan, the arch-enemy of good.
"Filthy garments" should have been translated as
"garments of dung" as the Hebrew word that "filthy" was
translated from is tsow'
(awuc) which is defined
as; soiled (as if excrementitious). Yahweh warned the Levitical priesthood that
He would spread "dung" (excrement) on their faces because of their
unfaithfulness (Mal. 2:3). Remember that their forefather Aaron made the golden
calf while Moses was in the mount. His willingness to please people rather than
Yahweh established a proclivity in his posterity. Very few of them would remain
faithful and loyal as priests who would serve Yahweh in accordance with their
own covenant and the covenant of Moses.
The point is that ha-satan (the adversary) who is
Leviathan, the piercing (fleeing) serpent, the crooked serpent, and the dragon
that is in the sea, has clothed Yahshua with the filthy, excrementitious
garments of idolatry while He has remained in the heavens. The Levitical
priesthood has not been loyal and faithful to Yahweh. They have never understood
that they are an anti-type, a temporary physical, fleshly, carnal type of the
heavenly Melchizedek Priesthood.
He has cloked the sun with sackcloth of hair, caused the
moon to become blood red, and turned the earth away from its Creator Yahweh
seeking to exalt his throne above the stars of heaven, sitting upon the mount of
the congregation in the sides of the north, ascending above the heights of the
clouds so he can be like the Most High. (Isa. 14:13-14)
LOTAN
Scripturally, there was only one person named Lotan. He
was the son of Seir the Horite, the original patriarch of the land of Seir,
which became Esau's inheritance. We have touched base with this in our booklet
entitled "Esau's Inheritance."

However, we discovered that Esau, being the oldest son of
Isaac, had for his inheritance the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of kings and
priests, and Yahweh was to be his Elohim. But he sold his birthright to Jacob
for a bowl of lentils, or red stew that caused him to become the inheritor of
Satan and his kingdom (this present evil world).
A look into the name Seir is quite revealing. The name
comes from the Hebrew word sa'iyr, which is defined as: shaggy; as noun, a
he-goat; by analogy, a faun. It is variously translated as: devil,
goat, hairy, kid, rough, satyr. Seir, the Horite was an earthly type,
representative of Satan the devil. The Hebrew word for "the devil"
would be ha-seir (ry[fh).
Seir (the devil) had seven sons (heads). They were Lotan,
Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. Lotan, being the firstborn,
would be the chief head of his father's family. (Gen. 36:20-21)
Lotan's sister Timna was the concubine of Eliphaz, Esau's
oldest son. She bare Amalek for Eliphaz.
Seir was a Horite, which means he dwelt in caves, probably
the area of Petra in the Middle East. These people were robbers, pirates, etc.
Petra is exactly where the Nabateans, descendants of Esau and his wife of the
daughter of Ishmael lived. Herod, called the great, was descended from these
people. He was related to the Caesars of Rome. The Caesars made him to be king
over the land of Canaan. When Yahshua was born, Herod sought to slay Him (Mt.
2:1-16). This would be the event spoken of in Rev. 12:1-5).
The Nabateans worshipped the Persian deity Mithra (-s).
Mithra would be a combination of the Hebrew word math
(tm) and ra (([r). Math
has to do with an adult male, while ra
means bad, evil. Mithra/Mithras was their sun god, which would have associated
him with the worship of the Egyptian sun god Ra, the Greek Apollo, the Caananite
Baal, the Babylonian Bel, etc. Mithras was worshipped in caves and grottos
(man-made caves). This would have made him a Horite (cave dweller).
Albert Pike, a 33° Freemason who was a member of the
Supreme Council as well as Grand Commander of the Southern Jurisdiction of the
United States, wrote the following about Mithra (-s):
"The Hindūs
called the Sun SURYA; the Persians,
MITHRAS; the Egyptians, OSIRIS; the Assyrians and Chaldeans,
BEL; the Scythians and Etruscans and the Pelasgi,
ARKALEUS or HERCULES; the Phoenicians,
ADONAI or ADON; and the Scandinavians,
ODIN....MITHRAS was the Sun-God of the Persians; and was fabled to have been
born in a grotto or cave, at the Winter
Solstice. His feasts were celebrated at that period, at the moment when the sun
commenced to return Northward, and to increase the length of the days. This was
the great Feast of the Magian religion. The
Roman Calendar, published in the time of Constantine,
at which period his worship began to gain ground in the Occident, fixed his
feast-day on the 25th of December. His statues and images were inscribed, Deo-Soli invicto Mithrae―to the
invincible Sun-God Mithras. Nomen invictum Sol Mithra...Soli Omnipotenti
Mithrae. To him, gold, incense, and myrrh were consecrated.
"Thee" says Martianus Capella, in his hymn to the Sun, "the
dwellers on the Nile adore as Serapis, and Memphis worships as Osiris; in the
sacred rites of Persia thou art Mithras, in Phrygia, Atys, and Libya bows down
to thee as Ammon, and Phoenician Byblos as Adonis; and thus the whole world
adores thee under different names." (Morals
and Dogma pp. 586-587)
Again, he wrote, "In the Mysteries of Mithras, the
Sun-God, in Asia Minor, Armenia, and Persia, the death of that God was lamented,
and his resurrection was celebrated with the most enthusiastic expressions of
joy. A corpse, we learn from Julian Firmicus, was shown the Initiates,
representing Mithras dead; and afterward his resurrection was announced; and
they were then invited to rejoice that the dead God was restored to life, and
had by means of his sufferings secured their salvation. Three months before, his
birth had been celebrated, under the emblem of the infant, born on the 25th of December,
or the eighth day before the Kalends of January." (IBID p. 406)
The Encyclopedia Britannica
Fourteenth Edition says this about Mithra (-s), "Mithraism was first
transmitted to the Roman world during the 1st century B.C. by the Cilician pirates captured by
Pompey...Towards the close of the 2nd century (C.E.) the cult had begun to
spread rapidly through the army, the mercantile
class, slaves and actual propagandists, all of which classes
were largely composed of Asiatics. It throve, especially among military posts,
and in the track of trade, notably at ports. The German frontiers afford most
evidence of its prosperity. Rome itself was a favourite seat of the religion.
From the end of the 2nd century the emperors encouraged Mithraism, because of
the support which it afforded to the divine right of monarchs. The Persian
belief that the legitimate sovereign reigned by the grace of Ormazd, whose
favour was made manifest by sending the Hvarenō,
a kind of celestial aureole of fire, resulted in the doctrine that the sun was
the giver of the Hvarenō.
1Mithras, identified with Sol Invictus,
thus became the giver of authority and victory to the imperial house....
"Mithras was born of a rock, the marvel being seen
only by certain shepherds, who brought gifts and adored him. Chilled by the
wind, 2the
new-born god went to a fig tree, partook of its fruit, and clothed himself in
its leaves....
Other bas reliefs depict Mithras, under the form of a
youth with conical cap and flying drapery, slaying the sacred bull, the scorpion
attacking the genitals of the animal, the serpent drinking its blood, the dog
springing towards the wound in its side, and frequently, in addition, the
Sun-god, his messenger the raven, a fig-tree, a lion, a ewer, and
torch-bearers....the birth of Mithras, then the god nude, cutting fruit and
leaves from a fig-tree in which is the bust of a deity, and before which one of
the winds is blowing upon Mithras; 3the god discharging an arrow against a rock from which
springs a fountain....Helios kneeling before Mithras; Helios and
Mithras clasping hands over an altar; 4Mithras with drawn bow on a running horse;
Mithras and Helios banqueting; Mithras and Helios mounting the chariot of the
latter and riding over the ocean...5the sanctification of Sunday and of the 25th of December."

[NOTES: 1The imperial house of the Caesars of Latin Rome, New Rome
(Roma Nova/Constantinople, and the third Rome (Moscow, Russia) all utilized
Mithraism to establish their authority over the subjects.
2This statement reveals that Mithras, in the beginning, is
naked Adam, who partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and then
clothed himself with the leaves of a fig tree. (Gen. 3)

understood that the stripping of the first seal took place when Emperor

tenets of Mithras, the sun-god. He then went forth conquering (Gk. = nike [Counsels of
Nicea]) and to conquer as the champion of the people in similar fashion to
Nimrod after the flood.

Sunday can never be a weekly Sabbath as the Sabbath requires six work-days with
the rest day at the end of the week, not the beginning. Also, it is a fact that
the Savior was never born on December 25th. This is common knowledge.]

commentary above, Lotan is also represented as Litan, but all we have to do to
get a more clear understanding of modern day Lotan is to simply change the
vowels in Litan to Latin and the home of the Leviathan beast is clearly revealed
(Rome).
The fourth metallic kingdom of Daniel chapter two is Rome.
The fourth beast kingdom of Daniel chapter seven is Rome. Rome was famous for
being built on "seven hills" in like fashion to Jerusalem. Rome became
divided into three cities, Old Rome, Roma Nova (Byzantium/Constantinople -
modern day Istanbul), and Moscow, Russia (the Third Rome [according to their own
history]). All three cities are said to be on "seven hills!"
